Summary

The Asset Protection Manager leads the store's asset protection team and executes shrink-reduction strategies. The role supports employee and customer safety, theft prevention, and store profitability while partnering with cross-functional leaders.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and oversee the performance of Asset Protection employees.
• Lead shrink-reduction programs and investigate internal and external theft risks.
• Own building security and safety, including emergency preparedness and incident support.
• Monitor and document Asset Protection reports and cases, using data to identify risks and trends.
• Partner with store leaders and support auditing, shortage reduction, and awareness programs.

Requirements

• Proven success in investigations, asset protection, security procedures, and AP leadership.
• Understanding of exception-based reporting tools and case management software.
• Strong communication, decision-making, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, use surveillance technology, and work a flexible schedule.
