Manager - Asset Protection - Shops at Merrick Park

The Manager of Asset Protection at Shops at Merrick Park is responsible for overseeing the Asset Protection teams, ensuring the safety and security of employees, and executing the company's shrinkage reduction strategy. This role involves collaboration with store leaders to enhance company profitability and align with business strategies.

• Lead and execute the organizational strategy set by the AP Division.
• Develop strong relationships within the store, including Store Manager and other key departments.
• Act as the owner of building security and safety, educating staff on emergency preparedness.
• Monitor and communicate reports to ensure proper documentation of AP incidents.
• Leverage data to identify trends and mitigate theft.
• Lead execution of company shrink program and directives.
• Hire and develop talent for internal and external investigations and AP programs.
• Utilize reporting to identify risks and maximize profitability.

• Proven success in investigative, asset protection, and security procedures.
• Experience with Exception Based Reporting tools and Case Management Software.
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with employees and leaders.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills in high-stress situations.
• Strong written communication and organizational skills.
• Computer proficiency, including monitoring and surveillance technologies.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and store needs.
