Manager - Asset Protection - Tacoma Mall

The Manager of Asset Protection at Tacoma Mall is responsible for leading and supervising Asset Protection teams, ensuring the safety and security of employees, and executing the company's shrinkage reduction strategy. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional store leaders to support the retail asset protection business.

• Lead by example and execute the organizational strategy set by the AP Division.
• Develop strong relationships within the store, including with the Store Manager and other key departments.
• Act as the owner of building security and safety, educating the store on emergency preparedness.
• Monitor and communicate all reports to ensure proper documentation of AP incidents and cases.
• Leverage data to identify trends and mitigate internal and external theft.
• Lead execution of company shrink program and directives.
• Hire and develop talent to support investigations, auditing, and shortage reduction programs.

• Proven success in investigative, asset protection, and security procedures.
• Experience in AP leadership roles.
• Understanding of Exception Based Reporting tools and Case Management Software.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Computer proficiency, including use of monitoring and surveillance technologies.
