- Craft compelling content that drives employee connection to Nordstrom’s purpose, strategic vision, and ways of working, fostering a sense of belonging and engagement.
- Provide expert advice and counsel to senior leaders and subject matter experts on communication best practices and approaches.
- Utilize a strong understanding of organizational communication needs, including structure and audience profiles, to determine the appropriate channel, medium, and distribution approach for communication.
- Create and edit engaging content for a variety of communication channels, including email, intranet, video, live events, and other digital platforms.
Requirements- 5-7 years of experience in communications.
- A proactive and strategic mindset, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- The ability to manage complex projects with multiple partners and deadlines, demonstrating strong organizational skills.
- A solid understanding of Nordstrom's voice and culture.
- A passion for fostering employee engagement.
- Demonstrated experience with various communication channels (e.g., intranet, email, video, employee events).
- Knowledge of internal communication best practices.
- Excellent writing, editing, and presentation skills.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
