Summary
Lead a team of analytics engineers to deliver data management solutions, reports, dashboards, and analytical KPIs that enable data driven decision making. Own the reporting and insights roadmap, modernization efforts, and centralized analytical data layer while implementing DevOps and DataOps practices. This is a hybrid role based in New York City requiring hands on involvement in analytics and reporting projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and own the reporting and insights roadmap for the organization.
- Lead design and implementation of operational KPIs and reporting.
- Manage modernization efforts to democratize data access for the business community.
- Assume ownership of the centralized analytical data layer.
- Define and implement automated data quality standards and processes.
- Lead multiple reporting projects primarily on Sigma and enhance current reporting initiatives.
- Augment information delivery by implementing AI for analytical needs.
- Implement effective DevOps and DataOps practices and track technology advancements.
- Keep leadership appraised of project status and escalate issues as necessary.
Requirements
- 7+ years designing, building, and supporting reporting initiatives.
- 5+ years of experience with end-to-end development.
- 5+ years with programming languages and analytics tools such as SQL, Sigma, and Tableau.
- Experience with Snowflake and the Sigma platform is required.
- Knowledge of retail operational KPIs and reporting strategy is a plus.
- Experience with Salesforce tech stack (SFCC, SFSC, SFMC) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Sigma and Snowflake certifications a plus.
