Job Description

Summary

The Manager, Fashion Expertise develops and transmits creative vision and product knowledge to boutique teams to elevate client experience and styling. Based primarily in the Boston boutique with responsibility for nearby market locations, this role delivers in-boutique and off-floor training, onboarding, and one-on-one coaching. The role partners with boutique leadership to drive service standards, styling development, and retail performance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver inspiring in-boutique training sessions on collections, product knowledge, service behaviors, and styling.
  • Coach Style Advisors and Fashion Advisors through workshops, individual coaching, and on-site evaluations to build styling confidence and client advisory skills.
  • Facilitate onboarding and new hire programs to ensure consistency of product and service standards from day one.
  • Promote and track digital learning completion and monitor training effectiveness through observation and qualitative feedback.
  • Partner with Boutique Leadership to co-create action plans, support KPI tracking, and provide qualitative insights to support business objectives.
  • Support client styling appointments in boutiques and follow up on styling development and client opportunities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in luxury fashion, retail, or hospitality, with retail training experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven ability to facilitate training, coach advisors, and evaluate performance in a retail environment.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills and strong organizational ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to travel frequently across boutiques within the market and a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
