Manager, Fashion Expertise

Summary

The Manager, Fashion Expertise develops boutique teams' knowledge of collections, product, luxury service, client experience, and styling. Based primarily at South Coast Plaza, this role also supports Neiman Marcus Fashion Island and partners with boutique leadership to elevate team capability and retail performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training on collections, craftsmanship, product knowledge, and service standards.
• Coach advisors in personalized styling, client relationships, and recommendations; facilitate styling workshops and appointments.
• Identify development needs, provide on-site coaching and evaluations, and support talent progression.
• Partner with boutique leaders on learning initiatives, business objectives, service indicators, client feedback, and onboarding.
• Promote digital learning and track completion, styling effectiveness, and relevant performance indicators.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of related experience and a bachelor's degree preferred.
• Recognized styling expertise and significant experience in luxury fashion, retail, or hospitality.
• Experience facilitating retail training, coaching, and evaluating team members, preferably in the luxury sector.
• Strong communication, organization, collaboration, judgment, and leadership skills.
• Ability to travel frequently within the market, work a flexible schedule, and stand or walk for extended periods.
