Manager, Fashion Expertise - Short Hills

Summary

The Manager, Fashion Expertise is based in the Short Hills boutique and supports multiple boutiques in the market as the liaison between the Fashion Expertise Office and retail teams. This role develops boutique teams' product knowledge, styling skills, luxury service standards and delivers on- and off-floor training to elevate client experience and boutique performance. The Manager coaches advisors, partners with Boutique Leadership, and drives digital learning and styling initiatives across the market.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-boutique training on collections, product knowledge, savoir-faire and luxury service behaviors.
• Coach Style Advisors and Fashion Advisors to improve personalized styling, curate looks and enhance client relationships.
• Animate styling workshops, observe effectiveness, and co-create development plans with Boutique Leadership.
• Partner with Fashion Expertise Home Office to support collection launches, client styling appointments and KPI tracking.
• Provide on-site coaching, conduct evaluations, and give structured feedback to Managers and Advisors.
• Support new hire onboarding and promote digital learning completion across the market.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in luxury fashion, retail or hospitality; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven retail training, coaching and talent development experience in a luxury environment.
• Recognized styling expertise with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to travel frequently across boutiques in the market and work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and some holidays.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
