Job Description

Summary

The Manager, Fashion Expertise based primarily at the Tysons Galleria boutique leads styling, product, and service training across the local market. This role transmits CHANEL's creative vision to boutique teams, elevates client experience through coaching and styling development, and partners with Boutique Leadership to drive collection impact and business objectives. The position requires frequent market travel to support multiple retail locations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver in-boutique and off-floor training on collections, product knowledge, service behaviors, and styling techniques.
  • Facilitate styling workshops, support client styling appointments, and coach Style Advisors and Fashion Advisors to enhance personalized recommendations.
  • Provide on-site coaching, conduct evaluations, and partner with Boutique Managers to create development plans and progress talent toward advisory or management roles.
  • Collaborate with Boutique Leadership and Fashion Expertise Home Office to drive collection messaging, monitor KPIs, and share Voice of Client insights.
  • Design and support new hire onboarding and promote digital learning initiatives while tracking completion and training effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience in luxury fashion, retail, or hospitality; retail training experience preferred.
  • Recognized styling expertise, strong fashion sensibility, and proven ability to facilitate and coach groups and individuals.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills with sound judgment and autonomy.
  • Ability to travel frequently across boutiques in the market; flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
