Manager, Fashion Expertise - Westfield UTC

Summary

The Manager, Fashion Expertise is based primarily at Westfield UTC in San Diego and serves as the liaison between the Fashion Expertise Office and boutique teams in the market. This role develops styling and product knowledge, delivers in-boutique and off-floor training, and coaches advisors to elevate client experience and retail performance. The Manager partners with Boutique Leadership to drive learning initiatives, support onboarding, and translate global fashion vision into local boutique storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring in-boutique training on collections, product knowledge, savoir-faire, and luxury service behaviors.
• Coach Style Advisors and Fashion Advisors through individual feedback, styling workshops, and observation to strengthen personalized client recommendations.
• Develop and implement onboarding and market-wide training programs and promote digital learning completion.
• Partner with Boutique Leadership to co-create action plans addressing styling development, slow sellers, and business objectives.
• Monitor training effectiveness, track KPIs and Voice of Client insights, and provide qualitative feedback to the Fashion Expertise Home Office.
• Travel frequently across boutiques within the market to deliver coaching, evaluations, and talent development.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of related experience in luxury fashion, retail, or hospitality.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Proven styling expertise and experience delivering retail training and coaching in a luxury environment.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with strong coaching and organizational abilities.
• Ability to travel frequently across boutiques and maintain a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays.
• Ability to lift 15 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
