Summary
The Fine Wine Manager will lead the Fine Wine division to implement strategy for sustained growth, working with brand teams, regions, distributors, trade, and customers to drive commercial plans, allocations, education, and brand equity across key markets in the Northeast and national accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement channel strategies for fine wine portfolio across on premise off premise and e-commerce
- Manage allocations inventory and flow of goods with regions distributors and operations
- Collaborate with brand team to execute commercial plans and provide feedback on brand strategies
- Engage distributors to secure buy in and ensure KPI measurement of local market plans
- Provide sales driving education and training to distributor reps trade accounts and internal teams
- Build relationships with targeted trade accounts and private client channels
- Represent brands at consumer events and support private client and e-commerce sales efforts
- Collect competitive and consumer intelligence and report implications to brand regions and business intelligence
Requirements
- Proven experience in fine wine or premium beverage sales and distributor management
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to develop channel strategies and manage allocations
- Excellent communication presentation and training skills for trade and distributor education
- Highly organized process driven with strong attention to detail and ability to multi task
- Ability to work independently and set priorities in a fast paced environment
- Experience working with regional teams national accounts and private client sales
- Authorization to work in the United States full time
