Job Description

Summary

The Group Sales Manager at Holt Renfrew leads a team of sales managers to enhance the customer and employee experience while achieving sales and profit targets. This role involves strategic planning, talent management, and operational oversight to drive success in a luxury retail environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and retain a high-performing team of employees.
  • Recruit, select, hire, and onboard top talent consistently.
  • Communicate performance goals and provide coaching to achieve them.
  • Recognize and reward extraordinary performance and develop improvement plans for underperformers.
  • Manage expense and payroll budgets and review profit and loss statements.
  • Develop talent and succession plans to retain key talent.
  • Assist in creating the store's annual strategic plan focusing on customer and associate development.
  • Communicate merchandising information to the Group Business Manager.
  • Prepare and analyze store performance metrics.
  • Serve as manager-in-charge and assume General Manager duties as needed.
  • Implement customer relationship management strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with privacy policies and cyber security measures.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of experience in a similar role, with 2-3 years in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales and profit targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships effectively.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to initiate change.
