Job Description

Summary

Human Resources Manager based in the Houston office responsible for HR business partner duties across the employee lifecycle for the Central region. Acts as a subject matter expert in talent management, development, performance management and employee relations while partnering with retail leadership, HR teams and legal partners. Role requires strong interpersonal, analytical and organizational skills and occasional travel.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as HR business partner for Central region delivering talent management and development strategies
  • Partner with Talent Development to identify learning needs and support career mobility and succession planning
  • Lead performance management training and annual review processes with senior HR leaders
  • Drive employee engagement programs and lead career conversations with retail talent
  • Lead employee relations investigations and provide timely reports with documentation
  • Partner with Legal and Asset Protection on workplace investigations and resolutions
  • Analyze employee relations trends and develop proactive strategies and policies
  • Collaborate with HR Controlling on staff cost budget planning and align HR practices with business goals
  • Review and propose improvements to HR processes and policies

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of relevant HR experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong knowledge of US labor laws
  • Demonstrated experience in talent management, development and employee relations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Excel PowerPoint and Microsoft Word
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality exercise discretion and work independently
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
