Job Description

Summary

As a Manager of Human Resources - Central, based in our Houston office, you will perform a wide variety of Human Resources Business Partner duties throughout the employee lifecycle. You will ensure all tasks are handled with confidentiality, tact, professionalism, and maturity, working closely with Retail partners, HR team, and executive leadership team.

Responsibilities
  • Act as a thought-leader on HRBP topics, including Talent Development and Performance Management strategies.
  • Identify learning and development needs for retail teams in partnership with the Talent Development team.
  • Drive talent management, development, retention, and succession planning for West coast retail teams.
  • Support Organization Management Review and career mobility processes.
  • Lead Performance Management training and career conversations with retail talents.
  • Lead Employee Relations topics and investigations for the Central region.
  • Communicate regularly regarding pending investigations and provide timely reports.
  • Partner with Legal and Asset Protection teams in conducting investigations.
  • Analyze employee relations trends and develop proactive strategies and policies.
  • Partner with HR Controlling team in staff cost budget planning.
  • Improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Strong knowledge of US labor laws.
  • Experience in talent management, development, and employee relations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
