Job Description

Summary

As an Inventory Manager at Nordstrom Boca Raton Town Center, you will lead and coach the Inventory Control team, embodying Nordstrom values to meet and exceed customer needs. You will be responsible for executing inventory management best practices and ensuring unit level accuracy throughout the store.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and drive execution of inventory management best practices and standards.
  • Coach and develop the team to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Oversee execution of Inventory Control functions.
  • Deliver staffing and scheduling needs based on forecasts to execute inventory control activities.
  • Manage labor expense and improve team productivity.
  • Hire and retain top talent while building a bench for future roles.
  • Share business updates and initiatives to streamline communication and change management.
  • Create a fun and inclusive work environment to support a winning culture.
  • Champion continuous improvement and support customer experience by driving inventory accuracy standards.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Proven success in current role with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with store and regional managers.
  • Excellent communication and team building skills.
  • Talent for influencing others and leading change.
  • Strong organizational, delegation, and follow-through skills.
