Summary

The Logistics Manager will oversee day-to-day logistics and distribution activities at the Garden City location, ensuring efficient flow of inbound and outbound shipments, accurate inventory control, and on-time delivery. This role leads a small operations team, manages relationships with carriers and vendors, and implements process improvements to meet service and cost objectives.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound receiving and outbound shipping operations to meet service level targets.
• Supervise and develop warehouse and logistics staff, including scheduling and performance management.
• Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal partners to resolve shipment exceptions and optimize routes.
• Monitor inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and proper storage procedures.
• Analyze logistics metrics and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant logistics, distribution, or supply chain experience.
• Proven experience supervising warehouse or distribution teams.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and common logistics software.
