Job Description

Summary

Manage logistics operations for a retail store located in Tysons Corner Center, overseeing inventory movement, shipments, and vendor coordination to ensure efficient supply chain performance. Lead daily logistics activities, optimize processes, and collaborate with cross functional teams to meet store needs. Drive continuous improvement in receiving, distribution, and storage practices while maintaining accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee receipt and processing of incoming shipments and stock transfers
  • Coordinate with vendors and carriers to schedule deliveries and resolve issues
  • Manage inventory accuracy and perform cycle counts as required
  • Supervise logistics staff and assign daily tasks
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for receiving and storage
  • Monitor key performance metrics and report on logistics performance
  • Ensure compliance with safety and security protocols in the back of house
  • Collaborate with store management to prioritize stock replenishment

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics or supply chain roles
  • Experience managing teams in a retail or warehouse environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of inventory control and shipping/receiving processes
  • Ability to work on site in a retail setting with flexible hours
  • Proficiency with inventory or warehouse management systems
  • Problem solving skills and attention to detail
