Manager, Merchandise Operations

Summary

Responsible for overseeing back of house operational functions and front of house visual standards to ensure timely processing and presentation of merchandise, maintain inventory accuracy, and support store profitability. Serves as a store management leader focused on team development, customer service, and execution of merchandising processes. Leads communication and problem solving to maintain store standards and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Hire train and develop the Merchandise Operations team
• Oversee processing of inbound merchandise to ensure receipts reach the selling floor on time
• Maintain inventory accuracy through oversight of exception reports
• Manage outbound transfers returns to vendors and related logistics
• Direct execution of markdowns price changes re-ticketing sends repairs and sell off consolidation
• Ensure compliance with store audit standards and operational procedures
• Lead communication direction and resolve flow challenges within the store
• Set goals coach and manage performance of associates
• Perform ad hoc operational responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• 3-5 years supervisory retail experience in visual or merchandising roles
• Available to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and retail technology
• Ability to lift and carry 25 - 50 lbs and maneuver rolling equipment
• Ability to climb safety ladders approximately 6 feet
• Strong leadership communication and problem solving skills
• Experience maintaining inventory accuracy and executing merchandising processes
