Job Description

Summary

The Manager, On & Off Premise Account Lead at Moët Hennessy will serve as the face of the company for the account, owning account relationships and being responsible for cultivating relationships and delivering sales and visibility goals. This role is based in Illinois and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Sell in MH brands/products, selecting relevant activations/programs/tactics for each account.
  • Identify opportunities for bespoke programs, deeper brand education, and upsell, bringing in appropriate MH resources.
  • Visit accounts to maintain relationships, monitor performance, and gather updates.
  • Act as a consultant on portfolio opportunities and growth via advice, education, programming, creative ideas, and analysis to accounts.
  • Lead trade advocacy initiatives and maintain relationships with key accounts.
  • Maintain on-call communication to ensure expectations are met in customer relationships.
  • Work hand in hand with distributor sales reps for pricing and fulfillment support.
  • Ensure account needs for programs and activations are met and executed within MH brand guidelines.
  • Build a key account plan through longer-term account partnerships and ongoing programming.
  • Inform the channel lead or market lead of opportunities, risks, and competitive intel.
  • Participate in Market/Maison visitors, blitzes, and distributor education.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience required.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in sales and marketing within wine and spirits.
  • Strong sales background and self-starter attitude.
  • Extensive understanding of consumer expectations within the geography.
  • Ability to apply knowledge of key business issues to effective sales pitches and strategy-setting.
  • Well-developed experience analyzing ROI and budget management.
  • Highly effective influencing and partnering skills, strong knowledge of sales techniques.
  • Refined communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical ability; effectively interprets and applies syndicated data insights.
  • Flexible mindset and ability to manage change in direction.
