Job Description

Summary

The Account Lead represents the brand for on-premise accounts across the Dallas and Fort Worth territory, cultivating relationships with accounts and distributors to drive volume, sales, and brand visibility. This role manages account strategies, coordinates activations and programs, monitors sales performance, and supports execution with distributor partners while working remotely in market as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support distributor sales teams to achieve brand priorities
  • Oversee and monitor sales and depletion goals within the assigned market
  • Sell in brands and select activations and tactics for each account
  • Develop key account listings and account support plans, track velocity and sales
  • Act as consultant to accounts providing education, programming, and analysis
  • Lead trade advocacy initiatives and maintain relationships with key accounts
  • Coordinate with distributor reps for pricing, fulfillment, and order execution
  • Manage assigned budgets including travel and promotional funds
  • Participate in market visits, blitzes, and distributor trade education

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience
  • Minimum 5 years of sales and marketing experience in wine and spirits
  • Strong sales background with customer centric relationship building skills
  • Experience analyzing ROI and managing budgets
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to interpret syndicated data and apply insights
  • Self starter with competitive and flexible mindset
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds occasionally
