Job Description

Summary

The Operations Manager will oversee daily boutique operations to ensure efficient inventory control, shipping and receiving, alterations, facilities, security, staffing, compliance, and expense management. This role serves as the boutique expert on standard operating procedures, systems, and tools and partners with Boutique Leaders and the Home Office Retail Operations team to drive operational efficiency and an elevated client experience. The manager leads operational staff, manages budgets and forecasts, and drives projects to improve boutique performance.

Responsibilities

  • Own all operational functions within the boutique, including inventory control, shipping and receiving, alterations, facilities, security, staffing, compliance, and expense management
  • Collaborate with Home Office Retail Operations to develop and execute strategic initiatives focused on increasing operational efficiency
  • Lead, coach, and inspire operationally aligned staff to deliver flawless execution and a positive culture
  • Act as the ultimate resource on Standard Operating Procedures, systems, and tools for the boutique team
  • Manage budget, forecast expenditures, and oversee expense management for the boutique
  • Lead projects, take initiative on process improvements, and ensure boutique image and operational standards are upheld

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of related experience
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Strong leadership, communication, and people development skills
  • Ability to lift 15 lbs and maintain a flexible schedule including late nights, weekends, and some holidays
  • Passion for client experience, attention to detail, and comfort working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Foreign language skills preferred
