Manager, Project Management - 12 Month Contract

Summary

The Manager, Project Management (12 month contract) leads cross-functional project delivery for strategic initiatives and capital investments. This role manages projects end-to-end — from ideation through implementation and post-project evaluation — and partners with business stakeholders to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and integrated into store operations. The position requires onsite leadership during implementations and regular reporting to executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional project management for strategic initiatives and capital projects.
• Create project charters, work plans, schedules, critical paths, and manage timelines.
• Drive accountability across business teams to meet scope, timeline, and budget objectives.
• Prepare project reporting on progress, budget forecasts, risks, and results for stakeholders and executives.
• Provide onsite leadership support during implementations and ensure operational integration with store processes.
• Manage change activities including training coordination, communications, and post-project KPI tracking and evaluation.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in Project Management, Change Management, Commerce, or related field; PMP designation is an asset.
• Minimum 5 years project management experience (post-university) and 5+ years experience in retail operations.
• Minimum 3 years supervisory or management experience within a retail store business.
• Strong leadership, influencing and communication skills; highly organized with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to manage multiple priorities.
