Experienced PR Manager to lead merchandising category support across fashion and beauty, develop organic influencer strategies, partner on brand events, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive awareness and engagement. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement integrated PR strategies for key merchandise categories.
- Cultivate relationships with media influencers and industry stakeholders.
- Serve as liaison with external brand partners to align messaging and media opportunities.
- Collaborate with marketing and merchandising teams to ensure consistent strategic priorities.
- Write press releases pitches and communication strategies for internal and external audiences.
- Respond to media inquiries exercising independent decision making and judgment.
- Pitch and secure press coverage across print digital and broadcast media.
- Ideate and execute creative event concepts to amplify press opportunities.
- Develop and drive an organic influencer strategy in partnership with social media teams.
Requirements
- 8 years of PR public relations or related experience minimum.
- Proven track record securing high-impact media coverage and executing integrated PR strategies.
- Strong media relations experience with established contacts in fashion retail and consumer media.
- Deep understanding of social media and influencer landscape and organic strategy development.
- Experience ideating and executing campaigns and events that drive brand awareness.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and storytelling skills.
- Strategic thinker with ability to perform under pressure and exercise sound judgment.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with marketing merchandising and external partners.
