Manager - Special Events

Summary

The Manager of Special Events plans and produces medium-scale events, including store openings, exhibitions, press events, and client engagements. The role manages event budgets, vendors, logistics, and on-site execution while supervising a Special Events Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute delegated events from concept through post-event reporting.
• Manage production, vendors, venues, guest lists, schedules, logistics, and event budgets.
• Coordinate with internal teams, international offices, stores, agencies, and vendors.
• Supervise and mentor the Special Events Coordinator and oversee freelancers and production partners.
• Travel as required and ensure event contracts and activities meet internal audit requirements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role or environment.
• Strong event production, logistics, project management, budgeting, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel frequently and work nights and weekends.
