Summary
The Manager Trade Marketing adapts brand strategy into visibility and selling materials, creates commercial programs for on and off premise channels, and acts as liaison between Brand Teams and Field and Trade Marketing. This hybrid role is based in the NYC office and involves managing agencies, budgets, timelines, and cross functional stakeholders to deliver program assets.
Responsibilities
- Translate brand strategy into commercial brand standards and tactical guidelines for channels and subchannels
- Create core commercial program ideas and selling materials for off premise and on premise activations and events
- Produce and update sell sheets and materials for sales and distributor teams
- Maintain brand assets on internal and external platforms for consistency
- Engage and oversee third party agencies and lead weekly status calls
- Create and manage POSM including images, details, allocations, catalogs and scrapping exercises
- Oversee POSM budget and ensure purchases remain within budget
- Collaborate with Field Marketing, Customer Programming Leads and Consumer Insights to align programs and materials
- Manage timelines and stakeholders to produce program assets on schedule
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience
- 5+ years marketing or creative marketing experience in wines and spirits, CPG, or retail industries
- Strong commercial strategy and sales or marketing experience with strategic orientation
- Experience with information systems and digital platforms and strong analytical skills
- Excellent planning, organization and project management skills
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and details simultaneously
- Proactive cross functional team player with strong influencing skills
