Summary
The Visual Merchandising Manager leads the creation and execution of compelling visual presentations and store layouts to drive customer engagement and sales. Reporting to the General Manager, this role ensures brand consistency through in-store campaigns, windows, fixtures, signage, lighting, and displays while supporting promotional events and merchandising initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and implement placement standards and execution guidelines for store visual presentation
- Create and maintain overall store flow merchandising and layout through displays and fixtures
- Develop and execute in-store campaigns and window presentations to support brand initiatives
- Lead communication and direction for visual operations within the store
- Design visual elements including signage marketing lighting and wall presentations
- Collaborate with store leadership to support promotional events and merchandising goals
- Provide hands-on installation of displays and maintain visual standards
- Monitor results and adjust visual strategies to drive sales and customer engagement
Requirements
- 5+ years of related visual merchandising experience in roles of increasing responsibility
- 2-4 year degree in Fashion Merchandising Fine Arts concentration preferred
- Ability to lift and carry 25+ pounds and climb ladders
- Experience operating equipment and working with materials such as paint and glue gun
- Portfolio or examples of previous work samples required
- Experience in event planning art exhibition or installation is a plus
- Strong leadership communication and team development skills
