Job Description

Summary

As a Managing Director at Hermès Houston, you will oversee all aspects of the boutique's operations, ensuring exceptional service and driving sales in a luxury retail environment. You will collaborate with the Vice President of the Central Region and lead a team to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee management team and ensure alignment in strategy and training.
  • Drive results through effective people management and motivation.
  • Analyze business opportunities and develop strategies for boutique growth.
  • Manage buying processes and ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Conduct sales coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Partner with corporate departments to support boutique goals.
  • Recruit and develop a strong team of candidates.
  • Organize events to build client relationships and enhance brand presence.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of store management or flagship assistant store manager experience.
  • Experience in buying and managing high-volume stores.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a luxury clientele.
  • Ability to motivate and maintain team morale.
  • Strategic thinker open to new ideas and change.
  • Experience working with European brands preferred.
  • Knowledge of French language is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel 4-5 weeks annually to Paris.
