Job Description

Summary

Senior retail leader responsible for all aspects of boutique operations including sales growth, client development, team leadership, buying strategy, and P&L accountability. The role oversees management teams, drives service excellence in a luxury environment, partners with corporate functions, and represents store leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop store management and sales teams to achieve sales and service goals
  • Own P&L responsibility and deliver on sales budget and inventory targets
  • Develop and execute buying strategy and manage inventory qualitative and quantitative maintenance
  • Coach managers through regular performance reviews and monthly sales coaching processes
  • Recruit interview and select candidates to build a strong talent pipeline
  • Partner with corporate departments and merchant teams to support boutique objectives
  • Collaborate with visual merchandising and communications to present product stories and organize client events
  • Address operational issues delegate tasks and follow up to resolution
  • Maintain compliance with policies and manage shrinkage and loss prevention goals

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years prior store management experience or flagship assistant store manager experience
  • Experience with buying relative to managing director responsibilities preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multi person teams and report to executive management
  • Demonstrated success running a high volume luxury store and driving sales
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Strong leadership communication and coaching skills with high standards of service
  • Operationally competent with experience in inventory and payroll management
  • Willingness to travel approximately 4-5 weeks annually
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs without assistance
