Summary
Managing Director responsible for running all aspects of the Plaza Del Lago boutique including sales growth, client development, team leadership, buying strategy, P&L ownership and operational controls to deliver a high level of luxury service.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop store management team and sales staff to achieve sales and service objectives
- Own P&L results, meet sales goals and manage payroll and inventory budgets
- Develop and execute buying strategy and manage stock levels respecting best sellers and MOS guidelines
- Coach managers through monthly sales touch base and performance evaluations
- Recruit, interview and select boutique candidates and maintain HR performance records
- Partner with corporate departments, merchant and visual merchandising teams to support boutique goals
- Organize client events and maintain high standards of visual presentation and product storytelling
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform boutique strategy
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years prior store management experience or flagship Assistant Store Manager experience
- Previous buying experience relevant to managing director responsibilities
- Proven experience managing multi person teams and reporting to executive management
- Demonstrated success running a high volume store with strong sales results
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent leadership, coaching, delegation and conflict management skills
- High standards of luxury client service and polished communication
- Ability to travel approximately 4-5 weeks annually and lift up to 25 lbs
