Summary
Support process engineering by testing, planning, and executing improvements to processes, products, equipment, and data systems at a manufacturing facility. Focus on technology and cost reduction opportunities and provide craft-focused perspective for continuous improvement and project implementation.
Responsibilities
- Perform root cause analysis by collecting and analyzing data and measuring and testing as required.
- Update drawings and documentation and write reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
- Implement approved corrective actions and support process improvement projects to drive efficiency and cost reduction.
- Provide subject matter perspective for project testing and implementation and support technologically driven solutions.
- Work with Process Engineers to develop and update flow charts, standard operating procedures, and work instructions.
- Focus on safe operation of manufacturing equipment and adherence to safety procedures.
- Use Tulip application and support departmental systems and processes.
Requirements
- Technical associate's degree or equivalent.
- 3 years minimum experience with modern jewelry manufacturing techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in process improvement and data analysis.
- Ability to create mechanical drawings in CAD and basic SolidWorks knowledge preferred.
- Knowledge of GDandT and ability to measure with calipers, micrometers, and vision systems.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications: bilingual English and Spanish, JD Edwards knowledge, data analysis software experience, Greenbelt certification.
