This Jeweler must have extensive experience and knowledge in high-end product, responsible for the execution of designs and ensuring the functional and aesthetic objectives. The role requires collaboration with a team and the ability to create complex and intricate pieces independently.
Responsibilities
- Create complex and intricate pieces without supervision.
- Provide input on technical aspects of design during project reviews and participate in brainstorming sessions.
- Translate design concepts into physical pieces within established project time frames.
- Collaborate with CAD designer/technician, setter, and polisher on technical aspects of creation.
- Construct new production models and initial prototype samples according to project delivery timelines.
- Work on high jewelry/sold order product.
- Perform simple setting and polishing techniques.
- Provide guidance to fellow jewelers.
Requirements
- Minimum 10-15 years of bench experience in high-end jewelry manufacturing shop.
- Knowledge of complex and intricate jewelry construction and precious metal properties.
- Ability to read and interpret design rendering/engineering documents.
- Ability to construct handmade elements, mechanical components, clasps, connections.
- Clear communication in a team environment.
- Knowledge of colored stone properties, setting techniques, and styles.
- Willingness to work overtime as business needs arise.
- Good communication skills and high motivation.
