Master Tailor - South Coast Plaza

As a Master Tailor at Hermès South Coast Plaza, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional tailoring services to our clients, ensuring the highest standards of garment fit and quality. You will collaborate with the sales and support teams to enhance the client experience in a luxury retail environment.

• Perform alterations on Hermès merchandise within established timeframes.
• Maintain client relationships through superior service and effective communication.
• Support the selling process by greeting clients and handling fitting and alteration requests.
• Collaborate with the Made to Measure Client Development Manager on MTM and Bespoke orders.
• Conduct training sessions for local teams on garment construction and the Bespoke program.
• Operate tailor shop equipment proficiently, including sewing machines and pressing equipment.
• Advise clients on product alterations, lead times, and costs.
• Travel to Hermès Boutiques for training and events as needed.

• 8-10+ years of experience in alterations within a luxury environment.
• Strong understanding of garment fitting, fabrics, and manufacturing techniques.
• Proficiency in garment construction and men's suiting techniques.
• Superior communication skills for client and team interactions.
• Ability to organize and track product and client information effectively.
