Material Handler

Summary

The Material Handler receives, moves, distributes, and resupplies upholstery parts and components for manufacturing work areas. The role also assists with truck loading and unloading and supports other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Receive upholstery parts and components and move them to the appropriate area.
• Distribute and resupply parts and components according to work area needs.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks.
• Support other duties and work areas as required.

Requirements

• At least six months of similar experience and knowledge of upholstery products.
• Ability to read production tickets.
• Effective communication skills and ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and consistent attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to stand, walk, handle materials, and lift, carry, push, pull, or grip up to 100 pounds.
