Merchandise Processor - Yorktown Center Last Chance

Summary

Provide excellent customer service at the point of sale while supporting store operations by processing and handling merchandise. Maintain the sales floor and cash wrap area, assist with order fulfillment and pick-up, and help customers with transactions and returns. This role requires physical handling of merchandise and flexibility to support multiple store areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers over the phone and at checkout with sales, returns, and other transactions.
• Restock merchandise, straighten and lightly clean the cash wrap area and sales floor to keep the department runway ready.
• Support order fulfillment and order pick-up processes.
• Listen to customer needs, share product knowledge, and build relationships by informing customers about events, gift cards, and rewards.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced environment and help the team maintain high service standards.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with strong organization and follow-through.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and requests from customers in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn new applications.
• Flexible availability to work a schedule based on business needs.
• Ability to continuously move for 6-8 hours per shift, frequently bend, twist, squat, reach, and lift up to 25 pounds.
