Job Description

Summary

We are seeking a Merchandising Manager for Men's overseeing MRTW, MLGs, and Home & Gift, to join our dynamic team in New York. This role involves strategic thinking, relationship-building, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support boutique needs, client requests, and new collection launches while achieving financial objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Create selling reports and provide historical recaps to analyze business performance weekly.
  • Communicate with Milan regarding deliveries, stock, and reorders.
  • Analyze selling by model, fabric, color, and size to align sales to stock and provide feedback to the Central Buying team.
  • Maintain communication with stores to understand market needs and manage stock levels.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and client feedback to refine strategies.
  • Develop seasonal sales plans and Open-to-Buy for respective categories.
  • Collaborate with Milan headquarters on sales performance and product issues.
  • Coordinate product for new store openings.
  • Attend markets to write orders for MRTW, MLGs, Home & Gifting.
  • Develop and execute seasonal trunk shows.
  • Educate retail teams on each collection and communicate merchandising strategies.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of merchandising/buying experience.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 3-4 weeks per quarter.
  • Strong knowledge of luxury market/products and brand philosophy.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with strong retail math knowledge.
