Summary
The Merchandising Manager will lead the business plan for Women's Accessories in line with company strategy. This role drives range development and implementation of the global brand buy while leading, coaching, and developing the merchandising team.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the critical path for Women's Accessories, including bags, small leather goods, shoes, jewelry, and eyewear.
- Partner with regional and headquarters teams across merchandising, product development, planning, sourcing, visual merchandising, marketing, and digital to deliver category strategy.
- Analyze weekly and monthly sales, recommend actions, and proactively anticipate business needs.
- Build relationships with retail teams, gather product feedback and market research, and support client initiatives.
- Monitor range plans and development targets; develop and present range plans covering pricing, country of origin, and competition strategy.
- Present the brand buy to regional teams, support seasonal product knowledge training, and coach and develop the merchandising team and direct reports.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of merchandising or buying experience in women's accessories for a large, multi-category retail brand.
- Demonstrated people management experience and strong leadership skills.
- Strong merchandising experience, retail mindset, and passion for product and fashion trends.
- High commercial instinct, strong analytical abilities, and retail math skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
