Merchandising Support Associate - Valley Fair

Summary

Support merchandising operations at the Valley Fair location by assisting with product presentation, inventory tasks, and visual standards to drive sales and maintain brand image. Work closely with store leadership and cross functional teams to execute merchandising initiatives and ensure a cohesive customer experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process merchandise shipments and verify inventory accuracy
• Stock and merchandize product on sales floor following visual guidelines
• Assist with floor moves and seasonal resets to maintain presentation standards
• Perform regular inventory counts and report discrepancies
• Support pricing and tagging activities to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with store and regional teams to implement merchandising directives
• Maintain organized backroom and sales floor to facilitate replenishment
• Provide general support for sales associates during peak periods

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical merchandising tasks
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Basic math skills for inventory and pricing tasks
• Prior retail or merchandising experience preferred
