The National Makeup Artist represents the brand as a lead ambassador, driving makeup strategy, trend innovation, and high standards of client service across fragrance and beauty categories. The role focuses on achieving individual and retail KPIs, mentoring field teams, creating content for digital platforms, and supporting high-profile events while traveling extensively.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-store and remote selling activities and act as a personal shopper.
- Achieve retail sales targets and contribute to monthly retail KPIs.
- Cultivate and manage client relationships through CRM and clienteling activities.
- Provide expert makeup consultations and deliver personalized makeup services.
- Mentor and coach field-based roles to improve application and sales techniques.
- Lead and execute high-profile makeup artistry events and participate in PR activities.
- Create engaging content for digital platforms and social media channels.
- Implement merchandising guidelines and collaborate with visual merchandising teams.
- Complete operational and administrative tasks and maintain professional standards.
Requirements
- Minimum of ten years of comprehensive experience in makeup artistry.
- At least three years of management experience in the makeup artistry industry.
- Proven sales experience in a luxury retail environment and strong client engagement skills.
- Strong social media presence and content creation skills.
- Backstage and editorial makeup artistry experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and brand digital tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 70% of the time.
