The National Makeup Artist represents the brand as a senior ambassador driving makeup strategy, trend innovation, and exceptional client service across retail and digital channels. This role delivers expert makeup consultations, mentors field teams, creates engaging digital content, and supports high profile events while achieving sales targets and supporting retailer partnerships.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-store and remote selling activities and personal shopping to meet client needs.
- Achieve retail sales targets and contribute to monthly retail KPIs.
- Cultivate and manage client relationships through personalized engagement and CRM activities.
- Leverage digital tools to maximize traffic and client loyalty.
- Implement merchandising guidelines and collaborate with visual merchandising teams.
- Monitor event stock levels and complete operational and administrative tasks accurately.
- Provide expert makeup consultations and deliver tailored makeup services and makeovers.
- Lead high profile makeup events and support public relations, fashion shows, and photoshoots.
- Create content for digital platforms and film for social media channels.
Requirements
- Minimum ten years of comprehensive makeup artistry experience.
- Minimum three years of management experience in makeup artistry roles.
- Proven luxury retail sales skills and client engagement expertise.
- Strong social media presence and content creation abilities.
- Backstage and editorial makeup experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Mandarin or Spanish desirable.
- In depth product knowledge and advanced application skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel extensively, approximately 70 percent of the time.
