Summary
Operations Ambassador is an entry level retail operations role supporting day to day store functions including receiving deliveries, processing merchandise, maintaining stockroom organization, performing inventory scans, and assisting the sales floor to ensure smooth store operations and customer service.
Responsibilities
- Process freight and perform markups markdowns and tagging per company guidelines
- Inspect deliveries for damage and verify packaging and sensor tag placement
- Execute daily RFID inventory scans and complete replenishment activities
- Manage ship to home orders and store to store transfers
- Maintain organized stockroom and sales floor inventory levels
- Support sales floor with stock checks merchandise delivery and customer assistance
- Process sales transactions and follow return and discount policies
- Participate in visual merchandising and maintain store presentation standards
- Collaborate with team members and participate in training and company initiatives
Requirements
- Back of house or similar retail industry experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and store personnel
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs and maneuver throughout store areas
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days evenings weekends and possible travel
- Ability to perform physical tasks including stocking tagging and inventory scanning
- Willingness to support both front and back of house functions
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain organized stockroom and sales floor
