Operations Associate - South Coast Plaza

As an Operations Associate at South Coast Plaza, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of merchandise within the store, ensuring that all shipping and receiving procedures are followed. You will support the sales team by maintaining an organized inventory and providing solutions to storage challenges.

• Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized manner.
• Support sales staff by providing merchandise from stock as needed.
• Anticipate and address merchandise maintenance needs proactively.
• Ensure all merchandise is ticketed and ready for sale.
• Assist with visual merchandising and operations by moving and storing fixtures and props.
• Coordinate facility and fixture maintenance, including cleaning and repairs.
• Participate in inventory preparation and reconciliation processes.
• Manage inter-store transfers and shipments according to policies.
• Complete paperwork related to inventory maintenance accurately.
• Ensure high standards in packaging client merchandise.
• Manage client delivery processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist other departments or on the sales floor as needed.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail setting, focusing on stock or inventory.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn various software packages.
• Action-oriented and results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.
• Customer service oriented with strong communication skills.
• Foreign language skills are a plus.
