Job Description

Summary

The Operations Associate manages movement of pre-sale merchandise and ensures shipping and receiving policies are followed while maintaining inventory accuracy and secure storage. This role supports sales, visual merchandising, facility maintenance, and client deliveries to uphold store operations.

Responsibilities

  • Direct movement of pre-sale merchandise entering and exiting the store
  • Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized fashion
  • Support sales staff by locating stock not on the sales floor
  • Manage and process inter-store transfers stock rotations and shipments
  • Participate in preparation and completion of inventories and cycle counts
  • Document deliveries to clients and manage the client delivery process
  • Ensure merchandise is ticketed and packaged to company standards
  • Support visual merchandising and operations with moving and storage of fixtures and props
  • Coordinate facility and fixture maintenance cleaning and repairs as required

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of retail experience focused on stock or inventory
  • Experience in a luxury retail setting preferred
  • Business school university degree or equivalent experience
  • Computer literate with ability to learn various software packages
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Customer service oriented and action oriented
  • Problem solving and social perceptiveness skills
  • Ability to assist other departments and follow store procedures
