Operations Associate

Summary

The Operations Associate maintains store inventory and stock areas according to company standards. The role supports accurate inventory control, merchandise handling, loss prevention, and the safeguarding of company assets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized stock areas and records, and handle merchandise appropriately.
• Support receiving operations and follow inventory control procedures to minimize stock loss.
• Order supplies, maintain housekeeping standards, and help control expenses.
• Use inventory systems and equipment to process merchandise and complete documentation.

Requirements

• Previous retail stock, shipping, or receiving experience.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
• Ability to read, count, write, and accurately complete documentation.
• Ability to adjust priorities and manage time in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to stand for extended periods and lift and move merchandise and fixtures.
