Summary
Part time Operations Associate responsible for supporting store operations at the cash desk including customer service, cash handling, order fulfillment and store maintenance. Role reports to the Operations Leader and supports omni services, logistics and visual merchandising as needed to deliver exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Process client transactions accurately through the POS and manage daily cash handling tasks including open and close procedures and bank deposits
- Collect and update client contact information and maintain client files
- Support service desk activities keeping the area clean, organized and well stocked
- Provide basic client resolution and escalate issues when appropriate
- Pick E Commerce and in store transfer orders and assist BOPIS operations
- Support on the floor logistics including markdowns, re ticketing and re tagging
- Maintain store and merchandise standards and assist with seasonal displays and special events
- Assist with inventory preparations and counts and monitor return items for restocking
- Provide cross functional support and assist sales floor with basic client inquiries when required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of retail experience in a customer facing role, preferably in a luxury environment
- Experience with shipping, receiving, merchandising, order fulfillment and inventory management
- Experience working at a service desk providing exceptional customer service is preferred
- Strong service orientation and ability to manage and assist a line of customers calmly and efficiently
- Demonstrated interest in technology and ability to use tech to support customer service functions
- Strong multi tasking and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and support daily tasks and ad hoc projects
