Operations Associate - Miami Design District

Summary

The Operations Associate based in the Miami Design District manages the movement of pre-sale merchandise entering and exiting the store and ensures shipping and receiving policies and procedures are followed. The role maintains inventory accuracy, supports sales and visual teams with merchandise and fixtures, and oversees client deliveries and packaging. The Operations Associate also coordinates inter-store transfers, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation to maintain organized and secure stock.

Responsibilities

• Manage receiving, processing, and shipping of merchandise and inter-store transfers.
• Maintain organized, secure, and accurately ticketed inventory; support cycle counts and inventory reconciliation.
• Support sales staff by locating and preparing merchandise not on the sales floor.
• Assist visual merchandising and store operations with moving and storing fixtures, furniture, props, and merchandise.
• Coordinate facility and fixture maintenance, cleaning, and repairs as needed.
• Ensure proper packaging and documentation of client deliveries and troubleshoot delivery issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; business school or university preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of retail experience focused on stock or inventory, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Computer literate with ability to learn and use various software packages.
• Strong customer service orientation, problem-solving skills, and effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively across sales, visual, and operations teams; foreign languages a plus.
