- Accurately process all inbound freight, returns-to-vendors, chargebacks, transfers, and damages based on company policies and procedures.
- Support compliance with company policies and standards, including safekeeping of funds and property, personnel practices, security, and record-keeping procedures.
- Ensure stock is appropriately security tagged to prevent loss.
- Communicate with central distribution and corporate inventory control department.
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping.
- Complete price changes within the boutique.
- Assist in packing or wrapping customers' merchandise when necessary.
- Help solve problems and make informed suggestions affecting service and productivity of the receiving area.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Participate in store meetings and training seminars as necessary.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements- 3+ years of retail stock/shipping/receiving experience.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, and follow-through skills.
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.
- Proficient in processing information and merchandise through computer systems.
- Ability to adjust priorities and manage time wisely in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to operate necessary equipment, including phone systems, inventory-control computer systems, and sensor-tag remover.
- Flexibility to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting.
