Operations Associate - Seattle

As an Operations Associate at Nordstrom in Seattle, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of merchandise in and out of the store, ensuring that all shipping and receiving policies are followed. You will support the sales team by maintaining an organized inventory and providing proactive solutions to storage issues.

• Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized manner.
• Support sales staff by providing merchandise that is in stock but not on the sales floor.
• Anticipate merchandise maintenance needs and provide proactive solutions to space and storage issues.
• Ensure all merchandise is ticketed and support visual, merchandising, and operations needs.
• Participate in the timely preparation and completion of all inventories and cycle counts.
• Manage and process all inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and shipments.
• Document all deliveries to clients and track merchandise when necessary.
• Assist other departments or on the selling floor as needed.

• 5+ years of experience in a retail setting, focusing on stock or inventory, preferably in a luxury setting.
• Computer literate with the ability to learn and use various software packages.
• Action-oriented and result-driven with strong customer service skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong oral and written communication skills.
• Foreign language skills are a plus.
