Operations Associate - Short Hills

As an Operations Associate at Short Hills, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of merchandise in and out of the store, ensuring adherence to shipping and receiving policies. You will maintain an organized inventory and support the sales team by providing merchandise as needed.

• Maintain inventory in an efficient, clean, secure, and organized manner.
• Support sales staff with merchandise needs not on the sales floor.
• Anticipate and address merchandise maintenance needs proactively.
• Ensure all merchandise is ticketed.
• Assist with visual, merchandising, and operational needs, including moving and storing items.
• Coordinate facility and fixture maintenance, including cleaning and repairs.
• Participate in inventory preparation and cycle counts.
• Manage inter-store transfers, stock rotations, and shipments.
• Complete paperwork related to inventory maintenance accurately.
• Ensure high standards in packaging client merchandise.
• Manage client delivery processes and troubleshoot issues.
• Document and track client deliveries.
• Assist other departments or on the selling floor as needed.

• 5+ years of experience in a retail setting, focusing on stock or inventory.
• Computer literacy and ability to learn various software packages.
• Action-oriented and result-driven.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Social perceptiveness and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Foreign language skills are a plus.
