Summary
Seasonal temporary Operations Associate supporting boutique inventory and receiving operations at the Topanga location. Responsible for maintaining stock areas, processing inbound freight and returns, assisting with merchandising tasks, and safeguarding company assets during the holiday period.
Responsibilities
- Process shipping and receiving functions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain orderly stock and receiving areas and general store maintenance
- Process inbound freight, returns to vendor, transfers, chargebacks, and damages
- Support compliance with receiving practices and company policies
- Participate in inventory and cycle counts
- Assist with floor moves merchandising display maintenance and housekeeping
- Complete price changes and assist with packing or wrapping customers merchandise
- Operate inventory control systems and communicate with central distribution or corporate inventory control
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management
Requirements
- Previous retail stock shipping and receiving experience
- Ability to handle receiving operations and properly handle merchandise
- Strong interpersonal communication organization and follow-through skills
- Ability to read count and write to complete documentation accurately
- Ability to operate phone systems inventory control systems and sensor-tag remover
- Ability to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment and work varied hours including nights weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods move and handle boxes and perform heavy lifting
