Summary
The Operations Controller is responsible for maintaining an efficient stockroom and accurate inventory while supporting day to day store operations, service, facilities, and compliance. This role promotes a luxury client experience and supports management in resolving operational issues and maintaining store procedures.
Responsibilities
- Execute shipping and receiving processes and report issues to management
- Ensure timely movement of merchandise including transfers, returns, and damages
- Assist management in identifying and resolving operational process problems
- Maintain clear and accurate operations documents and procedures
- Submit 8300 and tax exempt forms as received
- Communicate discrepancies and issues immediately to management
- Process repairs and damages according to company guidelines
- Place orders for office and store supplies and assist with physical maintenance of the boutique
- Oversee store cycle counts and scheduled inventories and reconcile discrepancies
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Minimum 1 year of administrative or stock experience preferably in a luxury environment
- Experience using internal retail systems and shipping software programs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Ability to meet physical requirements including climbing ladders bending and lifting boxes
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings weekends and holidays
- Proper work authorization to work in the United States
